Sucker Crazy!!

We have gone a bit sucker crazy for some reason. I had some old molds from awhile ago, but then I ordered more to teach the Laurels how to make them. Since then it has turned in to Mallory's science fair project, and we have ordered our second round of molds and flavors. Root Beer is by far the favorite flavor of the family, but we love them all.

Anybody want some??? We've made hundreds!!

Fenton's Ice Creamery...YUMMY

We finally made it to Fenton's with everybody! My mom and I always want to take everyone to the yummiest ice cream ever, but some of the boys are not as adventurous. We took the girls while we were living there a year and a half ago, and have wanted to go back ever since! It was definitely NOT easy. We did get a little lost, in Oakland, and the parking is insane...I MEAN INSANE!!!! So worth it though! We made a night out of it and went to see the lights at the Temple after...which ended up being another adventure lost in Oakland! Mallory got the December special, Peppermint and Chocolate! The homemade hot fudge is to die for!

Michael shared with Logan..actually, Logan shared with Michael. Logan loves ice cream, especially with candy canes. He was in heaven. (for a minute, then he had a tantrum and we had to leave)

They are SO BIG!!! None of us ate dinner though, so ice cream for dinner???

Me and Megan...her ice cream sundae was HUGE!! I got the sundae with the almond ice cream, which is the best ever!

Jillian's ice cream is SO Jillian (and me when I was little!!) Bubble gum with chocolate fudge! She loved sucking out all the balls of bubble gum.

Donut Day

The kids (including Kyle) talked Papa into donut day. They love going in the morning to get yummy donuts form the Jelly Donut. How could Papa say No!

Strawberry Heaven

Look at all of our Strawberries...What should we do with them???
On our way home from the beach last week we bought yummy berries. I wanted to make Jam of course. It turned out so good. I think it is the best strawberry jam I have ever had.

We were loving our biscuits and jam!

We have already gone through 2 jars. Good thing I started running.

My Little Bunnies

So, our new favorite thing to eat is lettuce...we call them lettuce dippers. In the Martha magazine she showed serving her salad as just lettuce and dipping in your favorite dressing.

The girls can eat a whole head of lettuce this way. You should try it, I know you will like it.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

In our family we have a tradition of making our corned beef dinner. The girls favorite part is the Irish Soda Bread that goes with it. We frost it and of course add green sprinkles!

Here they are kneading the dough. This is Jillian's favorite part.( Anything messy she is up for)

And here ya go. Yummy corned beef, cabbage, and tiny red potatoes. The girls both asked for seconds. Where did these kids come from??? I would never touch this stuff when I was little.

Crepes Anyone?

My mom got a cool new crepe maker, so we made crepes. I have never made them before or seen a contraption quite like this. They were yummy though. We stuffed them with strawberries and blackberries and topped it off with homemade maple whipped cream.
