Last Days of Summer

We tried to live it up for the last few days of summer...so to the local LAME splash pad we went! The kids had fun until we melted away from the heat.

Hallie had a blast!

All the kids!

Then we went to In N Out, hoping to sit somewhere cold...it was so hot inside!

But it was fun!

Utah Trip

We made the trek up to Utah over the summer. We met Michael's family for the Bear Lake reunion. It sure was fun!!

We made a stop at USU. It was so much fun.Part of Michael's rock art display was still there.

The kids had a blast at Bear Lake!

Little Hallie wasn't the easiest, but she sure is cute!

Uncle Dave brought the canoe...kids loved it!

Here is the crazy adult Hauck clan. What an awesome picture, right?

On our way out we stopped for shakes! They were the yummiest ever!!

Back at USU...We took the kids to the "A." It was so fun to see our old stomping grounds.

Aren't we cute!

We took the kids to the Dinosaur Museam, in Lehi. Logan was in heaven!!

Our cousins came too!

Then we went to Cabel's, our favorite store! It's funny when we go to Michael's favorite store and I come out with a bag full of stuff!

We had a great time visiting Utah! We miss it in the summer!!

Hawaiian Hallie

My little Sweet Baby! She is just too cute in her little Hawaiian dress that came from the big Hawaiian vacation!

I LOVE the colors...so her!
She hates wearing headbands. It is pretty tricky getting her to keep it on!

I love when she claps. I love baby tricks!

Sweet Baby! I can't believe she is going to be 1 in a few days! WOW!!

Tye Die Crazy!

Sooo, last summer my brother tie dyed firework shirts for us. The kids were begging to do more this summer, and that is JUST what we did.

We did one round which involved about 20 shirts. We started soaking and tying a little late, which put us dying in the freezing cold dark. It was so so funny and made for an interesting challenge.
Our favorite part in opening them up after they have soaked for a day. Gramma even got in on it!

After we opened them up there were shirts everywhere. Totally hippiville over here!

We did white fabric too.

Megan's scale shirt came out awesome.

So after the 1st round, we became obsessed and had to do more. That turned into like 40 more white things. We hit every store for white shirts and dye. We are so crazy!

(sorry, loading pictures too quick)

Aren't we way cute?

This is Logan's shirt. He loves it.

We were smart and tied all the shirts the night before we dyed them all. It is quite a science.

All the whites before.

We soak all the shirts in soda ash first. That is the annoying part.

It is AWESOME!!! Thanks to my hippy brother for introducing us to the world of tie dye, and a new craze!

I will post pictures of more awesomeness later!
