In Young Women's we started giving the girls a little something when they give a talk in sacrament meeting. I decided to do these little paper purse things and fill them with gum and candy.

Virtue Value Project

So this is what has been eating up my time...
For the Value of Virtue, the project is to read the entire Book of Mormon. So instead of handing my girls a piece of paper with a reading schedule on it, I decided to make them their very own Virtue book. These are the cheap composition books from Walmart. Me and a few other leaders covered them and added ribbon. I wanted each month to have a section, so we did 12 months times 29 books!! I didn't do the math until it was too late. We were working like crazy. So in the beginning of each month there is a reading schedule, then a few pages for their thoughts and things they need to write for the project.
It was a busy week trying to get these together, but the girls loved them and I know it will help them be that much close to getting their medallion.
Onto the next project...

Paper Crafting Crazy!

I got called into Young Women's as the personal progress leader a few weeks ago. So I had to make the invitations for our YW in excellence which is in December for some unknown reason! The theme is coronation of a queen, so I made goopy crown invites....they were fun to make!

They are pocket cards, you pull out the info card.

Over our Thanksgiving break my sister in law, Jill and I made some fun projects. I found this on splitcoast and thought they are cute. They are little paper purses.

We also made our Christmas Advent Calendar, which was so fun to make. A little time consuming but they tured out so cute. We are already having fun opening up the little tins everyday. I just need to put the ribbon around them.

I made another little paper purse for my friends birthday the other day. I put the card in it with some chocolates. I am loving the pink and brown cupcakes. Too Cute!
I think I need to give my paper cutter a rest for awhile and clean my house.

Projects, Projects, Projects

A couple of weeks ago I had a super busy crafting week. My living room still has not yet recovered (good thing Michael isn't here, he hates my stamping ZONE).I had an assignment to do a quick presentation on physical health for our "Relief Society Meeting." I made 40 of these little handouts. I filled them with Steel Cut Oats, my favorite new breakfast food.

Then they asked if I would do a paper crafting special interest group in October. I needed to make some samples of what we would be doing. So I finally made the frapp bottles. I have wanted to make them for a long time but never got around to it. Mallory said, "You bought coffee?" Kinda funny!

I had very limited supplies. I realized I have bought too many Christmas and Valentine stamps. I have no fall or pumpkin stamps, so I had to order some, darn it! The Halloween bottles turned out pretty cute, thanks to the awesome new m&m colors. Love them.

We are also going to make the little 6x6 photo flip book. I made one of all the spring pictures of Logan, and it turned out really cute. I thought it would be fun to have a Halloween or Fall book, with only pictures from different years.

So here they are. Jillian spilled water on the Halloween one, I managed to save it for the most part...yes, I was furious!

You open it up and there are all sorts of little flaps to put pictures on and embellish.

These pictures of Jillian are some of my favorite pictures I have. What a little sweetie (she was, she has cried all day today).

I Stamped!!!

It has been months and months since I have stamped. I know, what a tragedy. I have so many stamp sets that I haven't even cut up yet. So I finally made time to sit and stamp. I don't think Logan liked it much. He likes my full attention. Spoiled little boy. So here are my cards!
This one is my favorite. I tried it with my snap brads and the rhinestone ones. I think I like the snaps better.

I love the colors of this one though!
This one is just okay. I need the smaller oval punch. I know what I will be ordering next.

It was fun to do the paper split cards.
Inside. I love this stamp set. So fun to use.

Oh, I love to see a messy craft table being used....Michael hates it. Especially since it is all in our living room. I won that battle!!

I found this little hutch on craigslist for $25. What a deal. They even brought it over to me. It is perfect for hiding my stamp stuff. I need some goo gone to take the tape off the glass.

It even has a drawer for my punches!

I bet you all want to stamp now! It's way fun, once you make yourself do it!

Valentine Family Night

For family night we decided to make Love Notes for the girls grandparents. We decorated some little tin mailboxes and put the love notes inside, along with some yummy chocolates. I guess this won't be a surpise for them.
Here are the girls creations! We love making 3x3 cards. They are so cute and really fast, perfect for kids.

Mallory loves stamping with her Mommy. Glitter was the hot item to fight over.

Fun Fun

I made these cute tins for our friends..Both their names just happen to start with S.
Turkey leg anyone? We are starting to clean out our freezer since we are moving in a month. So we made a mini Thanksgiving Dinner. Jillian loves meat on a bone. She is definitely a Daddy's girl!

I made Martha's Boston Cream Pie Cupcakes. The chocolate ganache came out so pretty.

I have been searching for red plates for my plate rack for over a year now. Since I need one big plate and one small plate they have been hard to find. I was so excited to stumble across them at Ross the other day. That is what I love about those stores...You never know what you will find. My Mom and I call it treasure hunting.

Valentine Sweetheart Boxes

A close up! What is your favorite?

I have a new addiction. We bought a big box of the little sweetheart boxes and I have been busy decorating them. They are so much fun and super easy. Mallory is going to give them to her class for valentine's Day. They turned out so cute...good thing, we have 36 boxes. Happy Stamping! Kids, what kids???
