Santa Monica Pier

We drove down to my sister's house for a fun getaway from our life here. When we moved here I told Michael I would need to take much needed breaks. If you lived here you would understand! On Friday we took a field trip with Ryan's class down to the Santa Monica pier aquarium. The kids had so much fun and actually learned stuff....totally counts as a day of school!
The girls were picked to be volunteers. Jillian got to hold a sea urchin and Mallory got to hold the kelp.

Then we went down to the beach to find crabs and shells. Logan hung back to eat the sand. He said it was good.

After the field trip was over, we walked down on the pier, had lunch, and looked out at the beautiful ocean. Mallory loved the pier because we think it is the pier that is in the Hannah Montana movie. SUPER COOL!

There was a cute Carousel we let the kids ride. We were thinking it would cost $2, but it was only 50 cents. So cheap!!

After our big trip we stopped by Ella and Ryan's favorite place. The gum ball machines by 7-11. They are collecting the squishy pencil toppers. So of course we had to jump on that bandwagon. We now have a collection ourselves and thinking of ordering in bulk on the Internet.

In N' Out Party

The kids love eating at In N' Out and having their own table. Looks messy and yummy! Logan is all about the ketchup...like someone else I know. He was so funny. He just wanted to eat ketchup with his hands. Must be my boy after all.

Playtime

Logan and Sally were playing with some goldfish, and having some baby wars too. It was kinda funny to watch. Logan's disadvantage is not being able to walk. We gotta work on that boy. Then all the other kids will have to watch out!

Sally has this cute little car to ride on. Logan absolutly loved it. I need to hit some garage sales and find one.

American Girl

We went to the American Girl Store for little Sally's 2nd Birthday. She got the cute Bitty Baby twin girl for her birthday. Even Nana and Gramma and Papa drove down so all the girls could go to lunch at the cafe there. Papa babysat Logan all day. Logan was happy as a clam and I got to enjoy lunch and shopping without wrestling a crazy baby.

Having lunch! It was actually better than we thought it would be.

The girls love getting a seat for their dollies and a mini tea cup.

We all sang Happy Birthday to Sally and she loved blowing out the candle.

Jilli and Ruthie

We loved this new display of Lanie...the new girl of the year. We want her. She is so cute and her camper is tons of fun.

Jillian picked out the tap dancing outfit for Ruthie. It is so Jillian and maybe the cutest thing in the store. The shoes are even real tap shoes. Too CUTE!

The store is in a pretty shopping area in Hollywood. We love this fountain.

Nana and Gramma with the girls...I think Sally had HAD it and was off to the car. American Girl is always so fun and such a nice store. We had so much fun going. When is the next birthday?

A Quick Trip....

On our way home we made a quick trip to the OTMC (yummy) and then to Sea World. It is so fun having passes so we can just go for 2 hours. We made it to the Shamu show, which is awesome. We got to see our favorite black and white dolphins.

I let Mallory go on the Atlantis ride BY HERSELF!! Crazy, but she loved it. She got soaking wet and had a blast.

And then we got a few rides before we had to jet!

Logan stayed in the stroller almost the whole time and was so good. It made for a long day of him sitting.
Here is Mallory's shamu bar gone...just like ripping up $3. I let her have half of mine.

Pixy Stix

I finally made these large pixy stix. They are so easy and fun and super quick...with a cricut it is quick. I taught the Yound Women to lead music last night and these were the special wands to help.

Baby Ball

This is how Logan likes to play soccer!
